Svartifoss waterfall

Although Svartifoss waterfall is quite small, it is one of the most renowned waterfalls in Iceland. Svartifoss is situated in Skaftafell National Park and can be reached after a scenic hike. The strand of waterfall is surrounded by impressive dark basalt columns in the horseshoe shaped gorge.
