South Coast
The south coast of Iceland is extremely diverse and beautiful. It is strongly influenced by huge glaciers and floodings. Cliffs of the former coastline with impressive waterfalls, each of them interesting and unique, follow among the way. The coast is also very diverse, here you can find black sand beaches, basalt rocks stacks looking from the sea, cliffs full of birds or capes such as Ingólfshöfði, which is told to be the home of the first settler of Iceland for one winter and is also a great place to see puffins and other seabirds. A wide range of activities can be chosen on the south coast of Iceland starting with glacier hiking, snowmobiling and finishing with ATV tours on the black sand beach.
