Raufarhöfn

Raufarhöfn is a small village located in the north - east of Iceland. It was a major fish processing station in the 1960´s during the large herring catches. The village with 250 inhabitants is the most northerly community in the country. From Raufarhöfn it is possible to book a sail to take you north across the Arctic Circle.
