Jökulsárlón glacier lake
Jökulsárlón is the biggest and most popular of all the glacier lakes in Iceland. The glacier lagoon is quite young - it appeared only in years 1934 - 1935. Reaching 250 meters at its deepest point Jökulsárlón is also the deepest lake of Iceland. Floating icebergs in all the possible tones of blue make the views of Jökulsárlón unforgettable. Those who want to take a closer look at the icebergs can take a 30 minutes boat ride on a glacier lagoon.
